DAY 1: Shanghai Arrival     (-/-/SD)

Arrive in Shanghai in the morning. After the transfer to your hotel, visit Shanghai's old town, still known for its bustling atmosphere and lively old lanes. Mandarin Yu Garden, created in the 16th century, will enchant you with the grace of its layout and ornamentation. Visit Shanghai Museum where you will discover beautiful collections of bronze, china, porcelain, sculptures and calligraphy. dinner at Shanghai Morning Restaurant for Shanghai Cuision Dinner. .

Day 2: Shanghai (-/-/SD)

visit The Bund, Nanjing Road and Jade Buddha Temple with its two jade Buddha statues and architecture typical of the Lower Yangzi area. Night enjoy dinner at the Bund No 3. Whampoa Club

  

DAY 3: Shanghai - Hangzhou by China High Speed Train G7361 7:50/9:09 (B/-/SD)

Transfer to the station for departure by train to Hangzhou, Discover Liu He Ta, or Six Harmonies Pagoda, with its graceful architecture, built on a small hill overlooking the lake. Also visit Lingyin Sanctuary and the West Lake. Dinner enjoy Hangzhou Cuision at ShanwaiShan Restaurant. Overnight at Hangzhou

 

Day 4: Hangzhou - Suzhou by China High Speed Train: G7382 8:14/10:00 (B/-/SD)

Transfer to the station for departure by train to Suzhou, Visit Tiger Hill, Humble Administrator’s Garden, Lingering Garden. Dinner at Garden Restaurant of Ligengtang.

Suzhou transfer to have excursion tour of TongLi, Boat Tour at the Grand Canal.

 

DAY 6: Suzhou - Nanjing by China High Speed Train G7126 8:00/9:10 (B/-/D)

Depart in the morning by train to Nanjing. Visit Dr. Sun Yatsen's Mauseleum the father of the Republic of China; Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao)The area around the temple consists of a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and tea cafes. Nanjing History Museum.

Day 7: Nanjing - Xi’an by flight MU2801 8:00/9:30 (B/-/SD)

Take morning flight to Xi’an, transfer to your hotel in Xi’an, Arrival at Xi’an in the late morning. Discover the famous Terra Cotta Army warriors, the first Emperor of China. Return to town to visit the Great Mosque, built in the 8th century and Enjoy a walk in the old quarters around the Drum Tower and Muslim Street. in the evening enjoy a Dumpling banquet dinner.

DAY 8 Xi’an (B/L/SD)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the History Museum, Old City Wall

Day 9 Xi’an - Luoyang - Zhengzhou by China High Speed Train (B/SL/D)

Transfer to Luoyang by train, visit Longmen Caves on the outskirts of Luoyang. The site, one of three famous art grottoes in China, consists of a succession of small niches, the most ancient of which dates back to the North Wei dynasty. This is a fascinating outdoor museum of Buddhist sculptural art. On the way to Zhengzhou, stop in Shaolin Temple. Take visit at Shaolin Temple. Lunch for the Water Banquet in Luoyang, which has a history of thousands years.

Day 10: Zhengzhou - Kaifeng - Zhengzhou (B/L/SD)

Visit Henan History Museum and transfer to Kaifeng, Visit Dragon Pavilion and Da Xiang Guo Temple, Lunch for local snacks at Kaifeng, Kaifeng’s local food is famous in China, for the steamed dumplings and so on.

Day 11 Zhengzhou - Taiyuan by train D168 8:51/13:26 ( B/-/D)

Visit the Jinci of Taiyuan, transfer to Pingyao, Pingyao. This city, inscribed by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage monuments, is one of the few cities in China to have maintained its city walls. The old town is completely intact and the traveler is taken back to ancient times of the Middle Kingdom. On the way, stop at the Qiao Family residence, a walled mansion with five courtyards constructed by a rich merchant. It now hosts an interesting folk museum.

Day 12 Ping Yao - Datong by Car (B/L/D)

Pingyao Old City Town - /span>wander about the streets, filled with charming atmosphere. Pay particular attention to the wonderful architecture - /span>such as Ri Sheng Chang Old Bank, Ming and Qing Street - Stop at Shuanglin Temple and admire the beautifully painted clay figurines. Day 13 Datong (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Yungang Caves, which gather some of the most remarkable examples of Buddhist sculptures in China. Visit the Upper and Lower monasteries, founded in the 12th century, and the Huayan Monastery, built in the 10th century. It comprises the biggest Buddhist shrine-hall in China. Stroll around the old town where you will discover the Nine-Dragon Screen, made of glazed tiles. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 14 Datong-Beijing by Train K616 8:33/14:33 (B/-/SD)

Arrival in Beijing. Visit the Temple of Heaven with its outstanding round shape covered by an exquisite triple roof of blue tiles where the Emperor used to pray for good harvest. dinner for Hot Pot dinner. local restaurants. Overnight at hotel

DAY 15 BEIJING (B/-/SD)

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, walk on Tian An Men Square before a visit of the Forbidden City and its Imperial Museum, the former residence of Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace located in the outskirts of the city. Lunch at local restaurant. In the evening, enjoy Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 16 BEIJING -CHENGDE (B/-/SD)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Chengde and visit on your way a well-preserved and non-rebuilt section of the Great Wall at Simatai. Located some 110 km away from the Capital, this section of the wall is considered as the most beautiful one dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Continue your journey to Chengde. Chengde, located in a hilly area northeast of Beijing, has been listed in 1994 with the UNESCO World Heritage Monuments. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurants and overnight at Chengde Hotel ***

 

DAY 17 CHENGDE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion at the heart of Chengde and discover Bishu Sanzhuang, the summer residence of the Manchu emperors. This huge palace was constructed in a park surrounded with walls in which pavilions, bridges and kiosks have been graciously built for the emperors to rest and meditate. In the afternoon, visit of three of the most important temples built under the reign of Qing Dynasty Kangxi and Qianlong emperors (18th century) in order to honor their Tibetan, Mongol and Kazakh guests. See Puningsi, the temple of Universal Peace, built in 1755, a replica of the Samye monastery in Tibet. Then visit Putuozongshengmiao or Temple of Potakara Doctrine, modeled after Lhasas Potala Palace and Temple of Sumeru Happiness and Longevity, built for the 70th birthday of Qianlong emperor in 1780, representing the Tashilunpo Temple of Xigatze in Tibet. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurants and overnight at Chengde Hotel

 

DAY 18 CHENGDE -BEIJING DEPARTURE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Beijing with a stop at Gubeikou, another section of the Great Wall, completely virgin from tourist affluence where you will enjoy different scenery from Sima Tai. Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 19 Beijing (B/L/SD)

Visit 29^th Olympic Sites of Bird Nest, Water Cube, Hu Tour Tour with lunch at local Chinese people’s home. Fangshan Restaurant for Dinner.

 

Day 20 Beijing - Departure ( B/-/-)

Transfer to airport for flight back.
